I take it, then, that the desk seats are NOT easily foldable/removable?
The desk seats are easily foldable, the back is articulated as the front seats.

The interior of 710 K is very little but it's possible to live in. I made as little modification as possible, so I kept the table, just modified to slip over a kitchen. Mine too, in 4th and low RPM. I was worried at the beginning but, 25 000 km later, I don't pay any more attention!

Long, steep descents are not so frequent: a good solution could be to implement a manual switch, in order to cut the solenoids when descending?

I have made a rear awning too; it's a very little one. I used to put the poles directly on the ground but the post of Mac Call pinz gave me the idea to put them on the mud flaps hooks: it works very well!
