Re: trying to convince my wife that a Pinz is a good purchas
Not a fair comparison. I have both, an Unlimited Rubicon and the 710. They are nearly identical in size, but are very different machines. The Jeep will be an easier sell for all the reasons listed above, but the Pinz is a whole different ball game. My wife was not sold on the Pinz at all, at least n...

Re: Need help!
There is a shop in Victoria, Texas. Fritz's Auto (361)578-6195. He is very familiar with Pinzgauers. I've had my key fall out as well, when you insert the key make sure you push it ALL the way in and this shouldn't happen again. The key will still turn even if the key is only partially inserted. Did...

Re: LED Headlights randomly going out
I have the Gen 2 version with the reflector. Tonight I put in the new headlight relay. They still shut down on me but only for about 5 seconds. In fact they did not drop at exactly the same time. Maybe 1/2 a second apart. At this point I think the volt meter is the way to go. Should tell me if they ...

Re: LED Headlights randomly going out
Well tomorrow I'm supposed to be getting my new headlight relay in. I'm keeping my fingers crossed this corrects the problem. If that's not it then I'm going to start researching all the grounding points and see if I can find anything suspect. I do like the "monitoring wire" suggested above.

Re: Bridging the gap
Are you referring to the small space between the seat bases when they are folded flat? I would think an ISO mat or any other foam mat material would work just fine.

Re: LED Headlights randomly going out
I have thought about that Ako, I still have the originals "somewhere". Kdiqq as far as I can tell all my other lights stay illuminated even when the headlights go out. As suggested above I'm going to try a relay swap and see what happens. This mornings commute seemed ok but with the time c...

Re: LED Headlights randomly going out
Sat for 30 min with engine stopped and zero issues. Ran for 20 min engine on with zero issues. Will see how the morning commute goes.

Re: LED Headlights randomly going out
Neither will work. The plot thickens. I've been sitting out here for 30min with the lights on. Not even a flicker....

Re: LED Headlights randomly going out
They both drop out simultaneously as far as I can tell. When they start to come back on they are intermittent for a short while.

LED Headlights randomly going out
I pulled and remounted the panel. All the wires on the relay are tight and nothing looked out of sorts to my untrained eye. Still had the same issue on the way home tonight. Once the headlights go out they will flash with the turn indicator.

LED Headlights randomly going out
Last year I replaced my factory headlights with the new Trucklite LED's. They have been working great until a few months ago when they would randomly shut down for a minute or two and then come right back on. Both lights are doing this and it doesn't matter if they are on high beam or low. There see...

I would charge them 50K to not burn their business to the ground.
Re: Pinzi SSI
I'll be keeping an eye on this myself. I just ordered mine yesterday.
