Thanks, I have been in into early VW's and Porsche's for most of my life. I got the itch for a Pinz once I started taking some of my sons boy scout troop into the woods for back packing trips. Some of the older scouts in the neighborhood had remembered my old 64 land rover I had about 4-5 years ago ...

It is a easy thing to do on a small scale, but putting large sheets on even on flat 2D surface should probably be done by the shop that makes it for you.
So the current color is not working for you? It doesn't look bad to me that color

I am all for calling AAA for them, if they are clueless, drunk or just a dumb ass, For others I will help.
I like the idea of having them hook up their own rig, you are right if they do it wrong and tear off their Toyota bumper, they have no one to blame but themselves.

The two big guys out their are Rhino Lining and Line-x Rhino lining is alot thicker then Line-x and can cause fit issues in some cases. When looking at the areas you want to coat, consider this thickness. I personally like Line-x better because it is thinner. but have had great results with Rhino li...

Thanks for the link this picture it pretty much tells me their is enough room for the rear seats. I will have to look at the configuration of a TGB to see how they were done as well.

Yep that is me, I decided on the hard top as I figured it would be a better all weather rig. Plus I like the idea of being able to lock it up when I have things in it.

Thanks, for the warm welcome, I am really excited about getting it here. Next weekend if it is up to it I will be taking it on my sons boy scout trip up to the Elwa River for a Hike up Whiskey Creek. The boys in the troop have already seen the photos of it and are already claiming dibs on being able...

Well, I just pulled the pin on my first Pinz purchase. Having been heavily into pre 1967 VW's buses for over 20 years, I figured one of these air cooled brutes would be a good choice. I purchased a 1971 710K from Jeff Hays out of Aurora, CO. Having a 2wd vanagon style Doka truck currently as my dirt...
