Re: C304 Electric fan swap
I think there was an air bubble in the system somewhere, it's behaving much better now, though I still have to watch high RPM's, not nearly as bad as it was though. I have that fan controller already installed, and I'm going to be wiring up both a cutoff and an override switch for it. The larger rad...

Re: Tgb11 insurance and registration Q's
When you're cold calling an insurance company for a quote, it is all about the attitude of the person on the other end.. if they're a hawk or dove... and if they really give a damn... no is a quick easy answer to get rid of someone, and doesn't require any research... your own personal agent has a ...

Re: Tgb11 insurance and registration Q's
Just again, I had Geico insure my 304, I even mentioned it was a military vehicle, they said no problem. Just to say it. :) Well, I'd like to know just how you went about this, Doccers. I just called their 800 number and was practically laughed off the phone! I never said the word, "truck"...

Geico insured my TGB-13, so I'd imagine your 11 shouldn't be a problem.

Re: C304 Electric fan swap
Ok, problem detected. Slow conditions are not an issue, however the fan has trouble keeping up with higher RPM's. This isn't a huge problem as of yet as I don't normally see those RPM's while driving (or not very often), save for one very steep hill near my house that I have to leave it in 3rd in or...

You shouldn't have too much trouble, there is a ton of space in the volvo cab.sixbennetts wrote:I'm 6'4", 300 with a big belly. I'll wait 'til the truck comes and try moving the seat back first, just thinking out loud, really.

Air conditioning in a C300 series
I posted in another thread elsewhere on the forums (and emailed a couple of very helpful members!), but have not received an answer as of yet, and I am impatient like a child. :D Has anyone stuffed an A/C system into one of these trucks? As I understand it there should be bracketry available for it ...

It's 68 degrees here, by the way.

CV Boots?
Question on CV Boots: I need new ones. I found a seller on ebay who only has a few of the original boots left, but I'd also heard about new manufacture boots on the market somewhere. Also looking for any good writeups on how to install the boots myself. I contacted a local shop here in colorado, who...

C304 Electric fan swap
with the 105 degree days we're having in colorado, the mechanical fan was having a real hard time keeping up at idle. http://i.imgur.com/thhcOl.jpg http://i.imgur.com/CODzol.jpg http://i.imgur.com/PqSWal.jpg http://i.imgur.com/BQp3Sl.jpg http://i.imgur.com/aBbjXl.jpg http://i.imgur.com/5OUlcl.jpg ht...

Re: Looking for a rear door
Replied. (door looks great - I have a good window for it, and I have the lock off my current one, the door itself is rusted to hell and smashed.)
Also - Which door seals does he have? Mine are in pretty bad shape as well.
