Re: Sound Control: General theory and Pinz specific issues.
I just bought tires from Treadwright. What a difference. I had Biasd tires and never gave any thought about the ride. It is a military truck, right? Man, its like riding on marshmallows. Ride is softer and grip is better. Pulled a Chrysler 300 out of ditch where car was on its side. Road was icy. I ...

Re: Soft Top installation
That is one beautiful top. Looks so fluffy like a down comforter.I got to get one. How long was the wait from order to delivery? Did it not come with all the rubber cords? Mine are kinda weathered.

OK, I guess I will step up to the plate and replace gear. I will try to document process unless someone else has done it. I ordered parts. When they get here, I will begin posting pictures.

Re: speedo cable/gearing
I have same problem. The only issue is getting it inspected. Speedo has to.work. Where I get it done , they don't want to test drive it. So I was OK for this year. But come Nov, milage is gonna show the same. How hard is it and how long does it take to repair? Is it always just the one gear, or is t...

Re: Various Modifications...
I like the shackle thru the hitch. I have a tow strap inserted in hitch held in by the hitch pin. Shackle would work, also. Like the wood, and spark arrestor.

Re: How to jack up a 712M when I want to remove 2 tires ?
Are there any benefits to getting the rims zinc plated? How about anodized? Would either of these processes damage or wear off? Is it even practical? “There's no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't enough crimin...

I have a r/c nitro truck. It uses an inline check valve. http://www.ebay.com/itm/2xPCS-1-8-4mm-Inline-Check-Valve-Fuel-Gas-Air-Ink-Liquid-One-Way-Non-Return-/221376799794?hash=item338b15e432:g:u1cAAOxyJX1TA47H or http://www.ebay.com/itm/1x-3-8-10mm-Inline-Check-Valve-Fuel-Diesel-Gas-Liquid-Air-One-W...
Re: Air ducts
I installed the aircraft spuce orange ducting because it's higher quality than factory. On the flip side, that shouldn't matter much since I need a heater about 3 times a year . The silver ducting looks too much like drier duct from Home Depot, IMO. Not a big deal unless a lot of people are spendin...

Re: aux driving lights mount options
I do like the light bar. I like to drop glass in summer, tho. Maybe have the lamps able to swivel 180° for when glass is in "stand down" position. They all look good. I like the diversity of mount options. Glare is something I haven't considered.
