You don't have to justify cold, it's all relative to what you're used to. Coming in from 130f to an air conditioned 80 and you'll feel real cold.

I'll second, or third the heated vest idea. Rode into work nice and warm in 5c today. My jacket pulls 90 watts, so if you have a passenger, the total would only be 180, which isn't much better, but if it's just you it won't be bad at all.


This is assuming the Halfy runs 12v not 24.

We should meet up at the Tides some Saturday night and compare rigs!

These things are top heavy, try to keep that in mind and you'll stay on your wheels. I came from offroading subarus, (yes subarus) and those are wider then they are tall so the Pinz is a very different experience for me. The front locker on off camber stuff will pull the front, often in unanticipate...
