Spray the wheels yourself. Much easier to touch up if you scratch powder coat tends to chip or crack if your gonna offroad the truck. Playing card are good for masking the tires.

Re: 718 Rebuild

Outstanding work. Recreating those body parts and fabbing the dies to do it is well beyond my skills and show the true craftsmanship your putting into your rebuild. I bet when completed your truck will be nicer than when it rolled out of the factory!. Keep up the good work an keep the picture coming!

Re: Catalytic converter and stench

PINZSSI burns cleaner because it fires on both the compression and exhaust stroke ala wasted spark hence why setting the the timing is so easy because you find TDC doesn't matter which cyl because it is fire 180 form each.

Re: Gov auction Volvo. (ended)

The Volvo was non DLA (Defense Logistic Agency). They do private surplus auctions as well. So someone used Govliquidation like ebay to auction their privately owned truck. Pretty smart rational as someone looking for mil surplus would see it since the interest is already there but I don't think it h...

Re: Pricing a 710M

My Guess would be 10-15 depending on condition but that would be for a good solid running 710M truck up to 18 for a perfect minty one . K's would be 15-20. Obviously the cleaner the higher and also depends on how fast you want to sell. A nice clean solid truck you should hold firm on a fair price bu...
