Re: Steering

Mike,
You might want to check the availability of a new seal before you start adding heat. Good time to change it anyway. Shouldn't be too difficult to get. 35/25/7
Then you can put the heat to it.

Re: brake light wiring

THAT is a fantastic wiring solution for the break lights. Re-wired mine today. HOWEVER...I am having an issue with the TD light install. The lights I got from EI seem to be too long by about 1/4" to 3/8". Has anyone else had any issues bolting these up to a K? Is it necessary to grind some...

Re: Starter Replacement

Found the "bottom" nut on the dipstick tube...after cleaning all the gunk away it is a 13mm nut on the oil filter housing about half way down. :)

Not wanting this stuff up inside the engine, can anyone suggest a proper paint to recoat the inside of the pan? Wh...

Re: Starter Replacement

Hi folks, I am getting into replacing the starter on my '75 710K and was reading the old thread in the last post. Jim L. says to remove the bottom nut of the dip stick tube (13mm) and remove it. I don't see a bottom nut on my tube. Does it just pull up and out? Thanks for the help.
