There has to be a business in here somewhere!

The pinz(s) are a hobby at the moment... an expensive hobby. I also have a couple of other unique vehicles and the means to transport. The cost of upkeep is quite an expense, but then again, we all knew that coming in. I've been giving thought lately to what it would take to create a small business ...

Geneva, point taken. Its really an expensive accessory vs a true means of transportation. A very cool conversation piece if you will.

Thinking about a military bicycle to mount to the pinz

Besides the +10 style points while cruising on the weekends, it would be nice for riding back to the tow truck once i move the pinz to a camp site, etc. I've seen a few beach cruisers painted to look like ex-military, but I'd prefer a true Austrian/Swiss version. Anyone know what to look for? (May a...

I want one please, with shipping to 22044. Also, picked up an 01 F250. I have a question on the transmission. (yes yes, wrong forum, but i have a feeling you have some insight) It seems its shifting a little hard between gears (auto). I also notice a significant hard shift from no motion to motion. ...

Pulled gearbox, questions on evidence of leak and seals

Thanks for everyone's help in removing my gearbox from the 710. Its out and I'm studying it for signs of which seals need replacing. Question 1: I noticed thick black oil accumulation within the bell that surrounds the clutch. I'm wondering how can I determine if its a leak of the rear main seal of ...

There are a few things that I want to fix before I sell it. I couldn't sleep at night pushing issues off to another.

Thanks Jim. I've pulled the bolts and the shaft off, but it appears i'm just going to have a hell of a headache without a transmission jack. A standard floor jack isnt going to cut it. Locally priced - $400+ each. Ouch. For that price and the in frequency i'd use it, best to pay someone to do it for...
