Looking for a rear door
Hello folks, I'm looking at getting pricing/availability for a new rear door for a C303/304/306. When I bought mine, the rear door was covered by sheet aluminum that Baron Margo had put on as part of his plan to turn it into a rocketship (i am not kidding on this). Underneath the sheet aluminum, i'v...

Re: buying a Pinz
I plan on buying a 710M sometime this month. Ive been researching them for the last year, since i first saw one in ouray colorado last year. Rocky Mountain Pinzgauers was having their annual treffen, and were camped at the same KOA that my family was at. We're a big jeep family, and my interest in ...

Re: With one is beter pinzgauer or Volvo c303
They both have their ups and downs.
Also, you need to consider the 4x4 and 6x6 versions as well.
Once I'm done restoring my TGB-13, I may want to pick up a 710 pinzgauer (or 716 if they're more available at that point).
Damn these things are addicting.

This looks pretty good... the actress puts some interesting quirks into her character from what I can see in the preview... Looking forward to seeing the whole thing.

Figure this is as good a place to ask as any; does anyone know of a source for the volvo 8 lug 222mm offset wheels?

I am in awe, Sir.
What part of colorado are you in? I've GOT to see this thing when it's done.

Re: Intro from Malaysia - WR7002 - C304
Is there a tire inflation kit for a VOlvo? I know Team Havast set up a CTIS system for their C304, but I haven't been able to find anything about it. I think it was a one-off system, but if you can find a contact for them they may be able to build one for you... I haven't been able to find contact ...

Re: Emergency Braking with a TGB
Well Jim,I see all that time with a Volvo is paying off!! My TGB stops suprisingly well, and as Jim said, adjustment is important,MORE important in a hard braking situation. On a scarey side note,my truck can break 80mph w/ 315/85 tires. Just like pushing a house down the road, sucks a l...

Re: Crazy ? TGBII odyssey planned
OK.. next question... can anybody recommend a shipper? I have a ONE-day window for pickup  When I get home I can reccomend the gentleman that shipped mine, however he's based in oklahoma and does regular runs between CA and OK, I just happened to be on the way (Colorado). I'm not sure if he ...

Re: Crazy ? TGBII odyssey planned
Vince nailed this. It's going to be very noisy, and slow going. One extra thing if I may recommend is to doublecheck the vacuum lines as well. The lockers on the front and rear diffs are vacuum controlled, and if they lose vacuum, they go into locked mode. Very annoying to deal with on a long on-pav...

Re: Sockets on the front of TGB's?
I have that original one with my TGB-13 - the socket plug on it is very interesting, it looks like it can run at both 24 and 12v, the tip of the connector fits into the 24v sockets on the TGB, but past that it flares out to a standard 12v cigarette adapter, and short enough to fit into one perfectly...

Re: Maybe found a 303, but.....
I can understand that.
My girlfriend found an 1111 a few blocks away from us, and it looks like it hasn't been run in a year or so. We're tempted to ask if it's for sale, to give the 304 a little brother.
BUY ALL THE VOLVOS.
