If the pay was right I would, but it would likley cost to much. I have plenty of time though. Might make a deal if you wanted a 712M

I have always been baffled why so many people here post straight links here and no actual pics. Its incredibly easy. Hopefully your tutorial will prompt a few more people to do it the right way. PS, you can also just click the IMG button after you paste the URL. The IMG button will look like this if...

This is the slowest forum I have ever been on. Amazing it even stays alive. Good luck.

Las Cruces, NM Chili Challenge 2010

Some quick photos of my little brother Wheeling my 712 in as Cruces. Also pics of my Unimog and a Unimog axled Rover I built many years back. This is a fun event for Pinzgauers. We usually run the extreme trails, but since we had the pinz we were limited to the hard trails. http://www.benzworld.org/...

Broken 6x6 fork fixed in the field

First day of wheeling at the las cruces chilli challenge, my pinz lost it's 6x6. It would only work going up hill. We left it and continued the trail in my mog. This morning, I decided to tear it apart for the remaining 2 days of trails so my little brother could have a truck to drive. At the camp g...

But Prof, I thought 34" plus tires on a pinz was a very poor decision and could only result in broken axles from tire rub etc.   Oh, wait Im sure you just cruise the mall parking lot like I do.

I have had zero issues with rubbing on my 34" swampers. My truck does not have any of the tanks or boxes on it though. My truck has been heavily wheeled.

Tried using these numbers at both napa and porsche. Non of them pulled anything. The OEM# is not a valid porsche number.

Anyone have any luck. I even tried searching applications on the net.

Not trying to rehash it for you, sorry. And yes I read every page of your last big post. And I would be happy to send an e-mail with the info. But what is your approach here. I would think that you need to get an exception to the rule for the pinz, not change the whole program all together. It shoul...

Do not change anything unless you have some weird emissions inspections. Otherwise who cares. Though you could likely change it easily, its not worth letting them take a second look at it.

Anyway, someday you might want to swap to propane. Then what?

Here is where your getting screwed in my opinion. Notice the truck classification as well as the Body type of PS passenger. Yours I presume says military in the classification. Yes, i know this is a Unimog title, but its all i had easily on hand. My Pinz title is the same minus the surety bond title...

My point is, New mexico does not classify the pinz as military. What makes WI see it as an exclusive military truck? Get the military classification dropped from the specific vehicle paper work and problem solved. Here in NM I could register as military, but that would restrict me to parades etc jus...

Sadly, it looks like your stuck fighting technicalities. Such as, Is the pinzgauer a HISTORICAL military vehicle? If not, then it does not fit their bill. Items like this will be your only real argument unless you can lift the military classification. If it were me, I would hit the non military aspe...
