Bottle jack options?

My pinz sadly had all of its gear swiped before it was auctioned off and I'm looking to at least replace the bottle jack and tire iron so I'm not left stranded with a flat. Anyone who has a factory bottle jack, could you snap a picture and tell me the body diameter and collapsed height? I'm trying t...

Re: New to the board - Pinz 710K shopping

Your best bet is going to get it all quoted from Scott. He offers nearly everything you're looking for. See how many 'extras' you can get lumped in to one sale and maybe he will work something out? He is a friendly guy and is flexible. Helped me a lot when I ordered my 710M. Imported from Austria an...

Re: GMRS/FRS

Since GMRS is restricted (requiring a fee) is there anything you cannot do on the band? Like is there a specific purpose for this band vs normal CB?

KM2s are back in production

I know, I'm terrible for starting another tire thread, but I got word today that KM2s are back in production for the beloved 255/85-16.

Back orders are being filled right now and new orders are expected to ship mid to end of March.

Re: Oil breather hose size

I ended up adding the hoses in from SAV when I ordered some other stuff. I dont know what sizes they have, but their hoses are EXTREMELY stiff, small, and difficult to manipulate. I got them on, but it did not come without a fight.

Oil breather hose size

I'm in the middle of removing the carbs and giving the engine a good cleaning and realized it's a good chance to swap out the two oil breather hoses but I can't get a size off them. Mine are too wallered out to measure and I don't see a stamping. I could guess but wanted to see if anyone knew off th...

Re: My 1963 Volvo L3314N

Very awesome to see. Looks to be in killer shape!

So t-case, front diff, and rear diff are just normal open diffs?

Re: My 1963 Volvo L3314N

That's awesome, it literally looks like an exact mix of Pinzgauer and C303. Is the driveline similar to a C303? What are your plans for it?

Re: Airtronics D4 controller?

A recall a few of you have installed EI's Airtronics unit for heat. What did you use for a controller and cable? Did it add the additional ~<$300 to the price, or did you find a less expensive alternative? Controllers and harnesses are all over ebay, but I found that most don't ship from America so...

Yeah, when I ordered it for the tranny and t-case (plus a spare quart for leaks) I was out $180+shipping. :/ So barely hundreds. Got it off Amazon, idk if y'all have a better source. I'd love to hear.

Re: Will MT-90 help cold weather shifting?

I will be 'that guy' and say that I drove my Pinz with 90wt cheap-o and put in MT-90 a few months ago and didn't notice any (yet alone hundreds of dollars) worth of difference. That being said, my Pinz shifted great before and it still does now. Had it in 30degF and felt the same. Your wallet will h...

Re: Adhesive for windshield weather strip

Weather strip adhesive worked perfect! You have to take your time on it though. I completed it in three sections and had my wife help me, but it is finally done! Hopefully next rain my feet will be dry!
