Sources for rear bench seats or alternative
Looking at a 712 that has no rear bench seats. Would like to either replace them without needing a second mortgage or finding an alternative. I want to be able to have the flat platform that the stock seats provide and seating is a second thought. I like the quick configuration change from seats wit...

Re: If I had the $ I would buy it...710KM
Real nice looking, but the nose looks like a 716 and the ad says gas not diesel. Not sure someone would put a 716 nose on a 710. Personally, I don't like the 716/718 nose.

Anyone know about a 712MK?
I saw pictures of this 712, http://www.schiess-automobile.ch/712-mk.html and I can't figure out if it was an M converted into a K, or is original from factory, or is entirely fabricated. Anyone know?

Re: Insurance Crisis
How did it work out with GEICO? I hope to have one to insure in a few weeks. I got an online quote from Hagerty via Progressive and using Steyr Puch as the make, and Pinzgauer 712M as the model seemed to work fine. Looking at anywhere between $230 and $290 depending on price, usage and deductible ba...

Changes to Pinz between 1974 and 1982?
Sorry if this is in another thread, but I couldn't find anything in a search. I am trying to find out what changes were made in the 710/712 from the early '70s to the early '80s. Does anyone have a reference?

Re: How difficult and expensive is it to paint your Pinz bod
Has anyone painted the inside, or is it mostly and outside color change for those that change the color? Seems like it would be a much more difficult job to paint the interior.

Re: New member and soon to be Pinz owner (hopefully)
Jimm391730 - Very complete analysis and very useful Krick3tt - The reason I asked about the Ambulance is that I have a lead on one that is not more expensive than an M and I am exploring the ability to convert to Amb for a camper and to an M for other times. Just wondering how feasible that would be...

Re: New member and soon to be Pinz owner (hopefully)
I saw a photo of an Ambulance without its box on. It looked like there was a solid wall between the cab and the bed. Does that come off if you want to convert an Ambulance to an M?

Re: How difficult and expensive is it to paint your Pinz bod
What if someone's wife tends to not like OD? If totally changing the color, perhaps to tan? Has anyone done that?
