Hi Morris, et al, We just spent a lot of time working on a number of variations of front ride height/impact of our winch and bumper, etc. The winch and bumper combined adds about 160-170 lbs to the front of the truck. On a 710M with NEW front factory coils, this will drop the front end by approximat...

Periodically we will build an extended range tank similiar to the ones we built for the medical vehicles. It's been 3-4 years since we did the last one, primarily because it is pretty cost intensive to do it right with the baffles, pickups, etc. I'll dig up my files and price it for you if you would...

We have/had been espar dealers for 4-5 years. Stopped installing them and switched over to the Webasto based upon a number of customer service nightmares. Even with the additional 15-20% savings that I can get the Espar cheaper, it is not worth the time/effort/aggravation to deal with a company that...

You guys are talking about removing your cap from the adapter as if this is a regular occurence? Realistically this should be once every year or two at tune-up time when you are replacing the cap anyways. Please don't tell me that is how you are opening up the internals of the distributor? When goin...

Hi Mike, You are definitely in the minority as there are well over 1500 of the adapters out on the market. I'd call that a pretty good test base. Water intrusion into the distributor is not a common problem. Check the following items: #1 - Vacuum Line - There must be a brass restrictor on this line ...

2 Options for connecting the Red wire. You can attach to the input side of radio noise suppressor (written when people were installing JUST the ignitor) or more easily, attach it to the spare terminal on the + side of the coil. Either way will work. Time the truck. Most important part of the install...

It will work enough to tell you if that is the problem......just re-install the barrels and aluminum cap for the feed and trigger, pull the boot back on the coil wire and stick the end into the cap. Use this method for trouble shooting, do not try and run it this way unless you convert over the coil...

Hi Guys, Make sure you are comparing the right things. THE BIG FACTOR HERE IS THE OD TRANNY. I am assuming Dennis is referrencing a TD transmission, and if that is the case there is no question the 2.7 mated to a TD tranny is a dog. The gear ratios of that transmission are so high that it loses all ...

Pinzgauer Alloy Wheel Option 16x8 - DOT - $146 - Interest?
Hi Guys, I've got a contract for some tour trucks that we are building that call for an alternative wheel. Anyways, after a discussion with the manufacturer we have come up with this wheel. I need to pick up 100 pieces to make it worth their while, but the price point seems to be in the ball park. (...
