Brian, Wisconsin DOT is not targeting just Pinzgauers nor military vehicles. According to the draft rule order that was provided by them, they are attempting to define how a vehicle is determined to be an on-road or off-road vehicle. This would apply to all military vehicles, US or imported, and oth...

If I remember correctly (a big if), the part #7111763352A at SAV is enough for one front door. So 3 of those at 29.50 should do it with some left over. Sarah will know for sure.

Yup, the 3M products are great. Comes in yellow (dries yellowish clear) http://www.shop3m.com/60455029946.html and also in black http://www.shop3m.com/70070385854.html . Most auto parts stores and body shop supply outfits carry them in various sizes.

Very nice job, Todd. I think I'll copy your work. Do you happen to have the check valve part number?

Thanks,

Todd, I found the same white chewed gum in the 710 I'm restoring/fixing. It was in some of the body corners and along some seams. I think you're right in that it is a seam sealant. I picked up a small sandblaster unit to do the bed after using a paint/rust removal wheel in my angle grinder didn't wo...

I used Expansion Well-Nuts that I found at my local hardware store. They are rubber with a threaded insert. You push them into the existing hole and then insert a bolt thru the dash panel into the well-nut and tighten. The rubber expands and holds it all in place. I couldn't find metric so used 1/4-...

The collar that is part of the turn signal switch has 2 screws that clamp it to the column. They are in recessed openings on the left side of the collar. Just below the turn signal switch is a ring or collar that surrounds the steering column and supports the turn signal switch. It is held in place ...

Very good looking Pinz! The price seems really reasonable. It appears to have a few upgrades/add-ons done to it - new siderails, newer tires, tail/stop/turn lights.

I've got a 710M that I wouldn't part with, just too much fun to drive!

Like Todd said, buy the manuals.

Good luck!

Brake bleeder tool

Does anyone own the Brake Bleeding Tool #9053258012 and is it worth the $69 for it? Are there any alternatives?

TIA
