Re: Adapter plates for 2-1/16" gauges into 60mm holes?

A multifunction monitor is my plan -- it's just not top of my list quite yet. But please think about what you'd want to see, and watch for me to start another thread on this topic. I'm an airplane person, so engines want to be monitored. :) My challenge is to do something that is functional, but no...

I wish I had a lot of free time, but it doesn't work out that way these days. It's been on my list for a month and will hopefully get done within the same future window.

Alas.

Please post up anything you find out. The blank hole on mine needs to be filled but a tach on the pinz seems, well, pretty unnecessary if you have ears.

Anything else interesting/easy to install, maybe some multifunction monitoring, would be of interest to me.

Re: Turn signal switch smoking

I have the JW Speakers and all the bits to do a swap on mine sitting in the garage awaiting a peaceful day without interruptions to do the conversion. This is on an Austrian rehab pinz with the big TD 5-segment lights, so I am anticipating some fun along the way completing this project. These will l...

Re: 710K map-reading lamps

Probably have to trace that blue light wire back.

Mine's Austrian but the blue/white function works fine when the doors open.

I don't have the Austrian articulating lamps (been looking for those forever with no luck) so it is only the overheads.

Re: Impact wrench questions....

IDK what your specific use case is, but for my needs air impact is fine and works ok with a small compressor for what I do. I limit impact to removing/loosening stuck bolts/nuts that may have been over torqued or damaged. Since this is typically a short blip or two, a small compressor and a butterfl...

Hoping he has buyer's remorse so I can come rescue it

I stopped subscribing to the daily BAT feed and blew it on this one.

Re: WANTED: Clean Pinz 712K or 718K in the USA

All of the fresh ones are probably going to be Austrian rehabs, and that's probably what you'd want to start with, if I'm honest. I am glad I did not see that 712K for $22K on BAT or my wife would probably have kicked me out of the house. That was a nice buy most likely and exactly in the condition ...

Re: LED tail lights

I like the look of these so much I'm going to jump. Found a pair on close-out prices. There is scant info on them, I presume the are completely sealed so you can't flip flop the sections and one would be mounted upside down? Even though I have the giant incandescent lights from the Austrian rehabs (...

There is a table in my Austrian 710K. If you need dimensions or anything I may be able to help, but it is not for sale.

No parasitic paths to discharge the battery.
I always use, and have always used, the cut-off, so your point explains it exactly.

I need cut-offs in every other vehicle apparently too it appears.

Re: Sitting 4+ years, checklist for resurrection...

Thanks, I seem to fight battery issues constantly. Seems like every year I put batteries in something. I’ll get that straightened out and soldier on... I have the same issues with my other two and four wheel vehicles and the a perpetual battery of the month club. The 710K batteries nearly 10 years ...

Two of these seems a good investment (EverStart Maxx Group 27) in your project:
