Re: Bronco?

Interesting about conversion to 2.7L + EFI, I don't know about this - I will need to research it. Jim Laguardia/Goatwerks is the go to on this. There are quite a few folks here on the forum with these mods. Are you located in Las Vegas? My Air Force Reserve unit is in Las Vegas, so I am there somet...

Re: Hand Winch

I rarely, if any, have need for winch, so is cumbersome, expensive, and more complicated for a full electric winch system. Yes, but when you do need one, I'd argue from a safety perspective that you don't want to be dealing with any compromises. A hand winch is potentially much more dangerous, espe...

Re: Bronco?

But realistically I should probably have a different vehicle at least for long range trips... So I am circled back to my starting point. Another friend maybe provided the best advice, don't get a new vehicle - instead put any of those potential funds towards upgrading my Pinz! I think a lot depends...

Re: 255/85R16 KM3 tires hard to find

The Pinz is too loud inside at highway speed to hear tire noise! I'd need to have someone drive alongside me. :) LOL, that thought occurred to me just after hitting the 'submit' button. I tend to forget the typical Pinz noise factor as my cargo/bed platform dampens the noise in my truck to a level ...

Re: 255/85R16 KM3 tires hard to find

I looked at that KM3 option, but in the end opted for Falken Wildpeak MT01 LT255/85R16 BW 123/120Q. So far I'm happy with them (look and road-use), but not tested them seriously off-road yet. For me, I wanted a tire with siping, and some of the other MTs don't have that. I'm going to give those Fal...

The Cooper STT Pro is an excellent performing MT tire, but 285/75R16 is still too wide for the Pinz, causing rub at full wheel lock.

Re: 255/85R16 KM3 tires hard to find

Since the purchase of my 710K over a dozen years ago I've gone through a variety of tire brands/sizes and 255/85R16 seem to be pretty ideal. As far as the KM3s I'm at the end of the wear life of mine and am disappointed at the relatively short lifespan. I currently have ~11,500mi and 2yr+10mo on min...

Hi Jordan!

You make 3 in Henderson now (that I'm aware of). We should have an introductory meetup. Will PM you with contact info.

It's my understanding that these were developed in partnership with Scott at EI and are engineered specifically for the Pinz.

That's a very fair price for a top quality awning with accessories. I'm guessing that you should see some interest. Good luck with the sale!

Re: Battery replacement

There seems to be some charging issues with AGMs on older vehicles, especially if they aren't driven like an everyday car The Pinz is my DD. That may explain the longevity of my Optimas and why I've not run into charging issues. The deep cycling of the Blue Tops is essential to the function of my t...
