That was shocking . I emailed the seller early in the auction to point out that I had concerns about how the vehicle was listed (that I doubted it was fully legal in California), and I got a very abbreviated response that it was indeed fully legal. My question and the answer never appeared on the li...

I did something like that with my Haflinger. I am 6'3" and though I was able to use the stock vehicle, I felt that my viewing angle was poor enough that it warranted some fabrication work. At the same time I wanted better protection in the advent of a rollover, so I had a 4 inch spacer bar put ...

If you want to go that route, you should get yourself a Haflinger!!! Not only will it fit into most Toy Haulers, but you will still have room and weight capacity for your other "toys"

Thanks Dave, Jim, and all for a great gathering! My girlfriend and I were impressed with the display of vehicles and the pervasive friendliness of all present. We look forward to doing one of the Big Bear trail tours this year with some friends and family, and perhaps we'll even get a chance to take...

Here is one in Canada--but it seems pricey even though it appears to be in decent shape:

Haflinger on ebay

This one isn't all in one piece, but it seems to be all be there according to the description and pictures. You would be hard pressed to find one cheaper.

Check it out at:

Extra Mirrors

I am looking for two replacement side mirrors for my North American Haflinger. I have the stems and need only the mirrors themselves. Either round or oval/rectangular mirrors would be fine so long as they fit the stock posts. I have some other parts I could trade if that is preferable to cash. Thank...

Peter, That being the case, without swapping the motor altogether, what other "upgrades" have you done or are you aware of to improve the stock motor. My Swiss Haffy has had the exhaust system replaced with a stainless one that was made locally--this added some slight improvement. My NA Ha...

High Compression Pistons for Haflinger

I am curious if anybody here has switched out their stock pistons for high compression pistons, and if so how that influenced their vehicle's performance. There are a few different upgrade paths that I am aware of, and before I seriously consider an upgrade, I'd like to learn from other people's exp...

Haflinger Technik Site is back up

For those of you who may be looking for hard to find parts, the Haflinger Technik website (which was down for a while) is now back up. There are also many changes.
