Re: Pinz's sitting in a yard

This yard is famous in Malaysia, or most likely infamous as they want gold prices for rust. Not many people in the 4x4 scene in Malaysia will buy anything from them. Pinzgauers are only difficult for that yard to register, not for the normal dealers. To give an idea on how high his prices are, they ...

If you recognise the parts of the Wabco picture above you could try S-Tec in the hope they have some old stock laying around.

The only way of getting a legitimate date is to request a build certificate from SDP

Re: broken air suspension, outback australia.....HELP!!!!

I got I think 3 spare P90 noses

Getting worried that I have way too many pinz bits

The heavier springs are most likely a bit better for rear end stability as less body roll. But this is based on what I heard here as the guys like to pump the springs up and go around corners

Re: broken air suspension, outback australia.....HELP!!!!

It is an interesting topic

I hoped we might get some feedback from people with this mod. I also wondered if the rear end would be more skittish in an empty 716 with the harder springs but you need someone who has driven one of each

Re: broken air suspension, outback australia.....HELP!!!!

You may want to discuss with gregor about putting front springs on the rear and if he has a spare pair My logic is: - I this is a common fix on airbag assisted vehicles as although airbags are nice and smooth they are a pita - it has been done before on a few 716 - you will always have a lot of weig...

Re: broken air suspension, outback australia.....HELP!!!!

I was figuring the extra large box would be a lot of weight in itself.

Only 4. I guess that explains that you don't see many around :D

Re: broken air suspension, outback australia.....HELP!!!!

Do you have any idea what rear axle weight you're running? 125psi static air pressure is pushing the limits of the air suspension..... Tom G'Day Tom, Their camper is one of those wide body 716 ex MoD ambulances. Did they do anything different on the suspension? I have heard some people have fitted ...

Also been told Hutchinson (Germany) is getting new stock in for Pinzgauers next month.
