Have you considered a CO2 tank? I find that this works great and can work in 12v and 24v vehicles just the same right up till you run out of co2 In a larger group it is a great resource to have a co2 tank around to reset beads and get a jump start on filling tires, not a big fan of them in a stand ...

I put OBA on my 712 by the time I picked up my 710 I learned that having it mounted was not the best option for me. I have since picked up a 24v Via Air compressor that I can take with any of my military vehicles and not have a bunch of compressors floating around in different trucks. Also helps whe...

I did the same with some dewalt batteries. Similar results with the terminals reversed, it seemed to cause negative results. Of the batteries I was able to bring back they now run at about 50% of a new one. I still feel this is better than just throwing them away.

the motor in my 710 never worked from the day I got it. Everytime I turned on the motor it would smoke until the breaker would pop. I finally took some time to look at it and found the armature was hitting the outer magnets. A simple adjustment, some cleaning and all is great now. I have another one...

The first installation I used 5/16ths self tapping tech screws, but after time they began to loosen up. I ended up putting a small tack weld on each side where the console contacted the roof support/rollbar. I made a bracket to go from the console to the windshield and bolted it. The bracket allowed...

have seen three different styles of ujoints. Some are easily replaceable with either stock or aftermarket. Which ever direction you decide to go the drive shaft should be balanced once the new ones are installed. I take all my drive shafts to a local company and have them replace the ujoints, inspec...

good job Brian, looks sweet. Have seen them used on the newer American trucks and even in good mud baths they seem to work ok. Since the 710K's are not known for their offroad ability it should be an excellent addition.

The plastic ends just pop off. They are not unique to the pinz so this particular part is not one that needs an alternative. I agree alternatives need to be found for some of the parts which are getting hard to find but looking for more expensive parts is not the way I would want to go for these veh...

a lot of people install it the other way around. I wanted to leave the area open between the visors for a future 5" ftf screen for backup camera/gps screen. Nice thing with the tuffy box is they are lockable and have lots of room inside to install other items. I have the controll unit for my in...

SwissArmyToy check your PM's Overhead consoles have been discussed before and while I have not found any idea I like better than the tuffy unit I have tried a few. The firs picture is a version that drops down between the head guards which I duplicated but found I hit my head on it far too many time...
