Is the seller the guy in Utah that was selling a very trick looking 712 a few years ago? That truck had been heavily massaged and had all kinds of add ons, roll cage, stereo, winch(es), lights etc.

What is a portal axle anyway? WTF?

If one's knowledge is limited to the BMW 2002 tii or the Mini Cooper or the Ford Fairlane or the whatever then keep your mouth shut when the other stuff crosses your path so you don't look like a dumb$hit with your comments.

That's a refreshing and adult perspective. Historically, we would have all gone over there and burned his business down to the ground after your experiences but you're right about taking this muc better approach. I'll drop him a line and see what's what with his G-Wagen inventory.
