Exhaust pipe size?

Post by one2many »

I'm about to reroute my exhaust more to my liking and since my Pinz came to me with the non genuine system that's on it I would like to know what size pipe was used by Steyr before the muffler and then from the muffler back in the stock system. I'm not making any changes to the system from the engine to the heat exchanger as this part is all still original and in good condition.

Thanks in advance, Warren.

Thanks waterdog,

Are those with 2.7lt engines also running 2 inch? Mines a factory 2.7 and I'm considering two and a quarter inch from the muffler through to the rear of the vehicle. Just curious as to what others with 2.7's have done.
