Gremlins

Post by Pols497 »

My 712 M I recently purchased would start up fine and run for several hours and then run out of fuel and leave me stranded. After carb and fuel pump and filter inspections I went to point A and removed the fuel tank and found that some nasty Gremlins had been living in there. No red death but 9 paper towels, 2 rocks, aluminum foil, a handful of leaves and a candy wrapper that was not from Oklahoma, by the way how do you tell if you have a Swiss model? She runs like a top now. Thanks

The Swiss models are usually blond, large in front, and really cute. At least that's been what I've heard... You'll know if you've got one.

I never get to be the first guy to answer a post like this!

Swiss soldiers can do pretty stupid things to keep boredom at bay and make time pass faster...

I would venture a guess that MOST ex-military Pinzgauers have foreign objects in their gas tanks. Two out of three of mine had newspapers (from 1981) in the gas tanks!
