Maintenance spreadsheet

Post by ChickenPinz »

In order to keep my stable of vehicles' maintenance (MX) in order, I work from spreadsheets. I've attached the spreadsheet I use for the Pinz here in case it helps others. This one is built from the service interval guidelines as stated in the manuals (pg214). Note that for most items they don't call out an elapsed calendar duration service interval, but the spreadsheet supports adding that. And of course you can freely modify the intervals to suit your own preferences.

In a perfect world, one would treat this like aircraft and do all the 50h, 100h, 200h, 400h MX at one time, but for a lot of us things occur much more organically and a spreadsheet like this helps keep track, and also provides a way to keep organized notes. Of course everyone has their own method, and no one method is best for everyone. I'm just offering this up in case at least one other person finds it useful.
