Clutch Resevoir behind steering wheel

Post by matthewc66 »

I have a slight leak in the reservoir behind the steering wheel which I believe is the fluid for the clutch.

It leaks down the clutch pedal if I am driving all day but in normal around town driving it does not leak. I want to monitor fluid usage and it is getting down to the "minimum" level in the reservoir.

What type of fluid do you use in the reservoir?

I used the search function but didn't see anything.

Thanks, Matt

Dot 3 brake fluid.
Matt, it is easy to remove and rebuild. Just remove the hard line and the 2 mounting bolts and it comes right off.
