Im talking about the big mamma jamma at the rear of the gearbox. The one seen in this pic: http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/Eq ... directlink

I bent the tab back and nailed on it with a mallet. Wont budge. I'm trying to get it off to fix the small leak behind it.

Do i need torch heat? Impact gun? Mega pipe for leverage?

The nut is staked.
I use a 1/2" air gun and 1 1/4" thinwall socket.
You can also use a long 1/2" drive breaker bar, the nut will come loose as soon as you get past the staked lip.
