I implemented the transmission mount fix outlined on Jurgen's site this weekend. Sweeeet, thanks to you both for your knowledge and support -Steve

Thanks, a previous owner or the Swiss must have beat me to the solution. I didn't know it wasn't stock, just assumed it was there originally.

.... and yes I've have that support out times for other reasons. It doesn't take very long to pull the mount.

I did this too more out of curiosity to see if the mount bolts and mount was good and free. It did not take long, but I can't really tell much since there are so many other noises going on. No clanking anyway.
'74 710K (ÖBH Austrian Rehab) mostly unmolested original - the unicorn (everything works!)
