Only grease fittings are on the driveshaft.

Three fittings total and don't miss them. I had to replace my shorty shaft,
one U-joint pooped out and took the shaft knuckles with it. Getting a shaft
these days ain't cheap, and you need to get it balanced too. Use a premo
Grease like Lucas.

You mentioned three grease points for the D.T. I see one on the shaft, where are the other two. Zig

There are two ends of the shaft...check the other one. Sometimes it is necessary to rotate the shaft to find them.

A tip for aligning your zerk(sp?) fittings on the driveshaft for the grease gun:
- Put your transfer case shifter in neutral so you can easily rotate the shaft by hand.

Put your transfer case shifter in neutral
AFTER you chock the wheels!

One zerk in each u-joint cross and one on the spline.

These are the PDFs I scanned in from their original German Service Manual. They were front and back, so don't mind the slight discoloration.

True. But not exactly part of the drive train, IMHO.
