Anyone care to check on their truck where on the eberspacher heater this brown cable goes? Looking at the three relays screwed to the truck frame, this cable comes from the RIGHT side of the CENTER relay and goes... Where?
I do have the wiring dont have one for the eberspacher to correlate all cables.
Thank you,
Jeronimo

Which model do you have? I may have an install guide with wiring instructions for it.

Hello Paul,
It is a BN4, installed in my 1975 710K, right behind the seat.
It has three relays installed right behind the heater.
Thank you,
Jeronimo

Here are links to a couple of manuals I have on the BN4. Hopefully one will help you out.

Many thanks for the replies! quite useful info. I should print these and put them in my truck library. But still can't figure it out. Why are there 3 relays in the back of the heater, when all heater references point to only one? Why the Pinz has other two relays?

So... getting closer. Found in a german forum a wiring diagram for the BN4 installation in our Pinzgauers. Still this apparently describes the installation for a specific model that I recognize by the type of Hardy pump. The one in this diagram is for a pump with + and - connectors. The one I have installed is for a pump with only a + connector, the ground is obviously taken from the core mounted to the chassis.
See the different installations pre and post 69. I believe this 710K wiring diagram is for the post 69 and I have a pre 69 in the truck. Just a guess and it does not make sense since my truck is 75.

I bought a new Hardi pump, with + and -, and replaced the original that only had a + connector, and it wont work. As soon as I turn the heater on, the over temp or no flame protector cuts all power and the fail light comes on. Only time resets the system. Can't understand why.
