The last few days the horn on my 710M has been going off on its own. Also the rubber horn cover pops off. It has been rather warm here. 90 degrees Fahrenheit. Any ideas?

There is a single brown wire that comes up thru the center of the steering column to the horn button. It is visible at the base of the steering box and travels up the firewall. That wire has been known to have the insulation wear and then ground out causing the horn to sound. There is a +24V lead (yellow with black stripe) providing power to the horn and the brown wire is the ground. Check the back of the horn button also. There is a set screw that holds the wire in place on the button and then the set screw should be wrapped in electrical tape or similar.
