Although not really authentic to the Pinzgauer, I have bought a couple surplus 24v Hella work lights that I like a lot. They have a magnetic base so obviously it will attach anywhere I wont them on the Pinz. I have a K version so I converted the light's original plug to a pingauer 2 pin used for the radios and outside generator connection on the back.

McCall very nice light!
I asume the only way to chsege a phone would be installing an inverter to drop current to 12v?

Still confused by that male plug that EI sells, what is the purpose of it ? I mean how do you attach the wire to it? Is it like a nut connector you screw it to ?

The outlet and plug are a European Standard sold under the Powerlet brand (the very same company famous for making heated gloves and jackets). They are common on European and Japanese motorcycles. You should have no problem finding them (as well as many accessories). Some venders in the US will call it a "BMW Plug".

With respect to the DIN plug, as pointed out these are common in Europe
for motorcycles -- although typically a 12V application. Happens to be the
Aux plug for the Pinz and not to be confused with the larger 2-pin plug for
Radio gear which is located behind the Passengers seat. That baby is good
for 20A, though it may not be protected with a breaker so be careful.

With respect to a standard USB +5V source, someone had posted the following
adapter which is DIN plug comparable and 12V-24V, with 2 USB and a digital
volt meter. I picekd one up myself and it's pretty nice.

So this one goes under the flasher knob and you can use it to charge cell phones, etc. with no other wiring modification?

Yup, just plugs in and works with no mod's.
Dual +5V USB type outputs for charging your
phone.

Does it display 24V without issue?

Yes, enough digits to display 24V.
