flasher connection-newbie needs help

Post by rdusek »

the flasher is gone from my truck and i'm installing a new one (NAPA EG-23 with 3 terminals) and i'm not sure which wires to connect to which terminals. I think the green wire goes on the X post (there are 2 green wires spliced together and I think it's ok to leave one free), the yellow/black wire on the L post, and the blue wire goes on the P post. I need to confirm all this before I install it and run power thru it. can anyone please tell me if this is correct? I appreciate the help and thank you.

X = 49 = Switched 24V = Green Wire
L = 49A = Load = Black/Yellow
P = C = Pilot indicator on the dash = Blue Wire
