Thanks! A great comparison video.

Unfortunately this was only the performance when new. In my experience with batteries (as an engineer), aging and cycle life are where you see the differences between good and cheap batteries. Often companies cut corners to get the price down, and sometimes those shortcuts compromise long term reliability.

It'd be great to see some comparisons of how well they hold up over time. In the same vehicle, I've had some batteries last well over a decade, and others get soft after five years. I used to be a solid DieHard person, but I'm more agnostic these days and my Optima Yellow Top so far seems like more marketing than performance in my FJ.

Given the Pinz has two group 27 batteries and a disconnect switch, I'm betting the right answer for us is one of those flooded type lower cost choices.
