fuel gauge wiring

Post by yaknowthatguy »

as with many things pinz, this project got delayed. I'd done some work on the dash, and had disconnected the fuel gauge from its wires. now that i'm back to work on the truck, I can't remember how it gets wired.

Can someone tell me which fuel gauge wire goes to which terminal? or post a picture? I looked in the book, and at the schematic, but can't seem to clarify it further. I have them bundled together so I don't have to hunt down the wires themselves, but I just cannot recall what wire goes to what terminal. all help appreciated!

This should help:

Both 24V leads, gauge power and gauge light, are black wires. The gauge light wire comes from terminal #15 on the headlight switch. The gauge power wire connects to circuit breaker #1.
The ground wire is brown.
