VDO's Cockpit International 24V Voltmeter, catalog # 332 902 looks right and is the same one SAV sells (I think), but does it need a trim ring/adapter or is it a perfect fit? I haven't seen any pictures of one installed so not sure.

That VDO line is standard 52mm mounting hole.
The optional meter hole in the dash is 62mm so
you will need the reduction ring. VDO Adapter 600851,
Summitracing has them.

Thanks. SAV says "Fits hole in dash on Pinzgauer", but I guess it depends on what you mean by "fits". They don't show or mention an adapter ring, but maybe one is included anyway.

Dono what comes with the SAV meter. Typically what goes in that
spare hole is a VDO Tach, which are available in 52mm. The hole in
the dash is 62mm -- thus the need for an adapter. Perhaps that meter
from SAV is 62mm, or as you pointed out comes with an adapter.

The VDO catalogues I have are circa 2011, and the only sizes are
52mm, 85mm, and 110mm. Older obsolete VDO gauges may be 62mm.

If you buy a VDO gauge with the "spin-loc" mounting, you will also
need a backing plate against that plastic nut as it's just under 62mm
in diameter so will slip right through from the backside.
