Has anybody have their parking break light on the dash flicker going down the road in corners and going through dips in the road. Any input will gladly be appreciated. Thank you. 82. 712m. 69000 k

Check to see if the tension lever arm going into the brake housing (under
the rear of the truck near the Pintle) releases sufficiently to turn the switch
off. There is a return spring that should provide force to do so when the
hand brake is released. If that's your problem you can try to use some lite
oil down the Brake handle shaft and also follow the cable underneath to
make sure it's not hanging up on anything or any of the cable guides popped
out. The switch itself may also be the problem. You could try squirting some
dielectric grease inside it and "work it" On/Off and see if that helps. May be
time for a new one.

I have had all the above problems at one time or another.

Also check brake fluid level. The lamp is dual function
Fluid level and park lamp switch. Must of the time
It’s just a cable or switch adjustment.
