Dam breakers!!!!!!!

Post by ABSOLUTSECURITY »

They always pop out and wont reset!

I toasted my #2 switching my headlight to Trucklite LED head lights. The pilot/running light touched the bucket  and I thought I caught it in time but then noiticed my #2 was popped out - it wont reset.

#2 is for running lights??????

Whats up with my breakers? Why do they almost always fail and not reset??????

Just shut up and buy new ones right Dave :) !?!?!?!?!

Give em a brisk tap and it will reset. And by brisk tap I mean hit it.

Or rebuild it and lube.

My Fix

When my breakers "pop" and than won't reset..... I blow compressed air in at the breaker button and they have always reset for a year or two with no problem!

Well - I went out to the Pinz and put the Carrier A/C low profile unit on the roof  and then opened the drivers door to show my brother the inside and noticed #2 breaker - I pushed it in and it worked! MAN!!!!

Well thats cool - it just wanted to rest!!!

LOL!

Whew! I saw the Title - Dam Breakers. Around here, those are refered to as "beavers". Little furry things.

Anyway, when I read the replies like "brisk taps" and "slammed them" I guessed I'd gotten the whole matter wrong...??

(I know. Sick sense of humor. Probably from Wisconsin.) :?

Anybody that has had the misfortune to know me knows that , I LIKE A/C! What are you using to power your Carrier? I cooled a 710K with a rooftop RV A/C W/Genset ,and currently have A/C on my 712,Redot roof unit running a compressor off the engine. just wondering as I like other takes on "climate control" 8) I think the word Eibersbacher or Wesbasto will not come up for another 5 mos. or more.....
