Mine is starting to flicker on my 712 at higher speeds. The intensity of the flickering varies and doesn't last too long. So far the truck starts fine, so I'm assuming the batteries are getting charged.
Is this going to be an alternator problem for me? I checked the fan belt and it's taut. Would a bad ground somewhere cause this.
Any information ya'll have would be appreciated. Thanks.

Eric, thought about that, but semi blew it off only because there aren't any other manifestiations like I had when the 710 regulator went bad. Stuff like headlights getting unbelievably bright and then dimming. But, on second thought I might revisit that idea since a regulator will be a lot cheaper than an alternator or rewinding it. Plus the '12 will only be down for an hour or so as opposed to who knows how long for an alternator or a rewind.
Thanks, anyone else?
