rusty crusty connector

so this last sunday, i swapped in new brushes in the alternator. discovered i had a problem in the molex connector (the one just behind the distributor with six conductors in it). the terminals on the red wire were corroded almost to the point of not even being there anymore. I'm surprised the thing even ran. i jury-rigged a temporary connection, but it's not right and I don't expect it to last. I'm trying to figure out what the part number is for the spade connector and the socket connectors used in the molex assembly.

if you go here
http://www.pinzgauer.com/showdetails.ph ... o=9030737/
and then click on the "drawing", you'll see a picture of the individual parts. the molex connector is #3 & #6. the parts that i'm looking for are the male and female bits installed in #3 & #6 ... they're numbers 11 through (probably) 37 and there's no obvious correlation between them.

any body know what actually goes in #3 & #6?

iv'e called SAV and (of course) the person i need to talk to is on vacation till monday ...

Go to Fry's Electronics and they'll have the parts.

Here's a link to where they're at in MN:

http://www.frys.com/template/isp/index/ ... umbers/MN/

Just print out the drawings and let them know it's for a Molex conector.

Almost forgot, while your there ask about the special crimper for the Molex connectors, they're well worth having as they do a perfect crimp.
