I've got power but it won't start!

Post by texas pinzgauer »

I turned on the kill switch, turned the key on the dash, pressed the starter button but I got nothin'.
All electric functions work but the starter isn't even clicking or acting like it's getting power. Nothing

Sounds like a loose wire? What (and where) do i check to get the Pinz back up and running?

Thanks in advance for some wisdom on this subject.

One of the nuts for the cable to the starter came loose? Since other elect. stuff is there it seems like a likely place to start is starter functions...just guessing.
Once mine would not start and the wire to the radio suppressor had wiggled down to one strand and it would not carry the current to start, took one long time
to find that one.

Thanks Morris. I'll give that a try.

It was a damaged cable to the starter Morris. Easy fix. Thanks for the guidance.
