I noticed that the light on my speedometer was blinking so I fished around to make sure all of the wires and grounds were well connected. I found they were, and further noticed that the blinking was speed dependent. And when I came to a stop the light was either on or off, but with a little roll it would blink the other way. Any ideas on where this is originating?
Thanks,

Re: Blinking Speedometer Light
Its grounding through the speedo chassis and cable. Make sure the ground wire has a solid ground

ya, that's all about grounding.....I have lazily ignored mine and between the speedo and the gas guage, it's like a disco at night......

Re: Blinking Speedometer Light
This sheds light on how sensitive a good ground is to voltage drop.

I'll re-check the grounds and clean them up.

I had this issue and the problem was the bulb wasn't locked in properly. It would make connection and work and then lose it and go dark. I'm all about checking easy first. Pull the bulb connection out and check it. The bulb has to be pushed in and twisted. Hope this works.
