Yes, 24v+ to 24v+, 24v- to 24v-

so no disconnecting of wires ? just pos+ to pos+ neg- to neg-
and im assuming a normal set of jumper cables will work ??

There are also threads on this forum on how to jump a 24v ( dual battery) system from a 12v system... it just takes safety precautions, but not difficult

Yes

I keep a laminated copy of the 12V jumping instructions in the vehicle - had to use it in anger on more than one occasion!
I suppose being 24V means that jumping from a 24V vehicle means that the leads you use can be thinner (or rather, there is more safety margin)?

Not really. Two group 27's in series = same amp's as one, just twice the voltage, the amp draw determins the wire guage not the voltage.

True, but the Pinz electrical system does not pull twice the power of a "normal" 12V vehicle; it is equivalent. So the starter current would be half of what you might expect from a 12V vehicle. This is one reason why the 24V system is considered better; you can realistically draw the batteries down further and still get a Pinz to start because the draw on the batteries is less.I suppose being 24V means that jumping from a 24V vehicle means that the leads you use can be thinner (or rather, there is more safety margin)?

BUT, jumpering a discharged 24V set of batteries will pull MORE current through the cables then could happen with a 12V battery. Remember that 24 volts has twice the energy! Treat it with respect.

Turns out i didn't even need to jump start the "K" afterall, there was just enough battery left i shot some starter fluid down the breather hose and she started right up.
