I had my starter button fail this morning all of a sudden. I have had experience with a bad button before but it died slowly. This time, all at once. Nothing! I checked my wiring to the starter and all looks good. Part ordered...
Has this ever happened to anyone else?
P.S.- How does one "short" the switch with a wire anyway? It seems like I could just do that until the new button arrives.
Bad starter button.?

Re: Bad starter button.?
According to the schematic, the black wire from the starter to the gray wire from the ignition switch if that's really your problem.

I tried it and it's not the push button. It was a broken wire connector on the starter.Twin Pinzies wrote:I'll try that. Thanks!Stekay wrote:According to the schematic, the black wire from the starter to the gray wire from the ignition switch if that's really your problem.
