Bad earth connections Pinz 710 M

Hi All, I have a bit of an elec problem that I think is a bad earth. When I put the headlights on pos 2 I cannot get the indicators to work, and in pos 1 when I turn on the indicators the dashboard lights flash on and off in time with them. I also don't have any main beam (brights) but I am not sure where the switch to operate them is, does it do on the floor with the windshield washer? I think that must be missing. can anyone point out where are good places to check for the earth points are and how I can remedy the problem? Cheers, Firemat

Ed, the brights don't work. The relay clicks when I pull the stalk, but the lights don't go on

IIRC, the ground is a brown wire, and it bolts to the chassis near the blinker module below the left side of the dash. Perhaps the schiz from edzz will confirm this for you.
