Wondering what the price & availability would be to get a new speedometer and fuel gauge for a 710K. (OEM european style)

Thanks

New OEM speedometer runs about $450 if you can find one. SAV is out of stock. I would check with Scott at EI.

Original fuel gauges are even harder to find. Most switch to the current VDO unit.

Are your's missing, or just not working?

I got the aftermarket fuel gauge from SAV and it looks fairly original.

Here's the VDO gauge SAV sells: http://www.pinzgauer.com/showdetails.ph ... no=SAV1400 It's a direct replacement IIRC, although I'm pretty sure it uses a trim ring because it's a hair smaller diameter.

What's the matter with your speedo? They're pretty easily fixed in most cases. There are a few write-ups if you search, or I can perhaps answer your questions about it, or as a last resort you may want to send it my way and I'll see if I can fix it for you. It's about a 1-2 hr. job usually. I've done several.

Maybe you need to earth the fuel sender and get a new speedo wire. Most things in the pinz are easy fixes. Do a search.

Unfortunately, I have no specifics on what is wrong with the speedo and fuel gauge. I'm just told "they don't work".
I test drove it yesterday, and yes, I did observe that they did not function.
It'd be great if they just needed a new cable or just to be grounded

Excellent rundown on the fuel gauge Edzz. I was unaware that existed. Thanks for the link.
