Ignition key HOT?!?!?!?

Wow! I just burn my finger with my key!! After driving for about 45 min at nigth when i turned off and pulled the key out it was very hot, so i proceed to touch the back side of the ignition switch and it burned me!!!! Is something wrong in here!! Can somebody tell me what sould i look for??? Too hot to be normal!! It left a mark on my finger!!... Thanks guys....

You definately have an issue. Are you running stock lights? First you have to gain access to the backside of the switch,look for loose connections with discolored-black crispy wires. If all looks good,probably high resistance inside your switch,if that's the case,replace the switch.

Im running H4 headlights, ,, ill check the switch lines....thanks..
