I ordered a new turn signal switch 211953513G from Airhead parts. Here is the wiring layout for it.

Switch - Pinz

brown wire - ground

1 to 2 butt connectors

black w/white stripe - Black w/white stripe

black w/green stripe - black w/green stripe


5 terminal butt connector

yellow w/black stripe - Black w/white stripe
brown w/white stripe - Brown
red w/black stripe - Black w/green stripe
black w/white stripe - white
gray w/black stripe - Purple

I did not post a link as the site was down. I am not sure the "guts only" will work but if someone tries it then post it up..

I also forgot to mention that you need to re-use the old half moon metal piece or shave the nipple off the new one since our tubes do not have a locating hole.

As far as I could tell you can reuse the old mount with the new switch or remove the steering wheel and swap in the new one.

You have to be careful of the "guts only " option as there are variations in the housings. I have found 2 types of switch internals and they do not interchange into the housings. Best to buy the switch complete, only the housing part around the steering shaft can be re used with either type.
These switches also work for the C303 with minor mods.

Hey Compunerdy - Thanks for the wire colors. Just installed a replacement intern set from Airhead.

I installed that switch on my 710, it workes fine and the wire colors match up. Very easy to do!
