Alternator Cable length

Does anyone have an alternator cable for a 710M (the one
that goes from the alternator to the battery) and can tell me
within an inch or two how long it is?

I'm having a used alternator rebuilt and the guy doing it has
told me that the only upgrading of cables I will need is the one
to the battery. He offered to make me a custom one for the new
output. If anyone knows, you'll save me a bunch of time
from pulling the existing one just to measure it.

I suspect the wire he is referring to goes from the alternator to the starter.
