Haven't been able to find one so thought I would just ask.
Looking for a 24V horn...not a 12V air horn with a resistor...to replace the pinz horn. Really want something that can be heard over traffic noise. Not necessarily to be noticed two states away just a replacement for the little beep that reminds me of a VW from 1964.
Any suggestions/leads will be appreciated.

2 of your favorite 12 v horns in series is another way to go. Your local wrecker will be happy to make a good deal.

Re: 24V Horn
Just remember that most 12V horns ground through their mounting brackets, so you would have to electrically isolate the mounting for the "upper" horn, and connect this horn's mounting bracket to the "lower" horn's terminal. AND, this typically forces both horns to operate at the same frequency (tone), even if they are specified as different frequencies. So you would get more horn volume but not necessarily the common two tone sound.2 of your favorite 12 v horns in series is another way to go.

Have you looked on ebay? "24V horn -air" is one search term that returns many options. The loud horns draw quite a bit of current. You might want to add a relay so that the horn button contacts don't weld themselves shut.

Re: 24V Horn
I have this one in low-tone. It is loud enough.
