80% on road, 20% off road, which tires to choose?

Issues with shocks/springs, tires, stopping, etc.

I did have the blackwalls facing out at first, but then the tires began to wear on just one half. So I had them turned around on the wheel and rebalanced. For what I paid for those tires I'm going to get 100% of the tread use, having the white letters out looks pretty good.

Yeah those arent cheap ! I put a pair on my Range Rover and I think I had almost a grand into rubber!
